We Believe God Established The Bridge To Connect Every Student To Their True Purpose In Life:
Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus Known
Knowing Jesus. In Philippians 3:7-8 we read, “But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.” Christians are men and women who don’t just merely know facts about Jesus, but are those who know Jesus Himself. Knowing Jesus isn’t merely an extracurricular activity to our discipleship, it is our discipleship. So here at The Bridge, we press on to know Jesus, theologically, biblically, & personally.
Making Jesus Known. When we truly come to know Jesus, we discover he wants others to come to know Him too (Matthew 28:18-20). In other words, making Jesus known on campus is not only critical to our mission, but it’s at the very heart of Jesus’ mission as well (Acts 1:8). We want to see every student to have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to see every student worshipping Jesus everyday. So here at The Bridge, we make Jesus known by inviting others to know Jesus, investing in disciple-making relationships, and increasing disciple-makers on campus.
